Response to the ''Veldt''

What do I think about the book. The book was ok, but I apprecite the themes. One of them was ''more is not always better.'' That is ture. One example would be fast food in America. We live in a culture where we can have as much food we want and not have to worry about dying of starvation but yet we are killing ourselfes ith obesity.

"That sounds dreadful! Would I have to tie my own shoe instead of letting the shoe tier do it? And brush my own teeth and comb my hair and give myself a bath?" This means something deeper then what you might think. In mordern society we do not do anything we dont have to do. It shows how we have prograssed from Cave Men to masters of this Earth.
